As a Reimbursement Specialist β Follow Up and Appeals, you play an important role in the overall success of the company. Working with our billing tool provider, you will drive payment for our services, and by partnering with colleagues in Finance and Client Services. Responsible for tracking, reporting and addressing complex outstanding claims, you will work to troubleshoot EOBs, appeal non-covered & low pay claims, follow-up on claims, and drive positive coverage determinations through external appeals.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in the area to attend quarterly in-person meetings, following up with insurance companies to check the status of outstanding claims, resolving denied claims and identifying reasons for non-payment.
The Revenue Specialist, Denials acts as the liaison between key client contacts and our denials appeal process to the appropriate payer, responsible for the initial denial audit and activities to resolve outstanding claims while handling patient health information (PHI) and maintaining privacy.
